who am i

I was born in Trinidad & Tobago, where I spent all my childhood years. It was there I fell in love with art illustrations and paintings. In 1995 I came to the United States to live with my parents in New York City. Everything was brand new to me, from the tall buildings, busy street, noisy cars and not to mention the tsunami of people. The U.S. was a huge stepping stone from a little island in the Caribbean. If its one thing I learned quickly when I first came here, was to adapt to the new culture. I never paid close attention to technology when I was younger and since moving to the U.S. it gave the opportunity to learn about computers and all sorts of different technologies at the time.

After graduating from High School in 1997 I had already knew how to take a computer apart put it back together and even build my own from scratch. I also started to learn different types of software such as Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop 4.0 and HTML 2.0. In a way I felt guilty learning these “Art Software” because I could have done the same thing using a pencil and paper. I did this for a hobby for a while and soon after as a career.

In 1998 to 1999 I worked in the East Coast for a couple of years. In the East Coast specifically New York I spent a lot of time building my skill set and experiences with different companies. Then in 2000 I worked in the West Coast for a couple years. I worked in the Silicon Valley where I was honored to be a part of a team to help build a part of the company. And now my heart has settled here in the Mid-West with the intentions of making a dream come true. Its now 2010, time has flew by so quickly so much has happened in those years. From dodging falling buildings in 2001, learning new and exciting software such as HTML4.0/XHTML, CSS2, JavaScript, JQuery, Adobe Photoshop CS4 to meeting my soul mate in 2006.

Now I’m happily Married to my beautiful wife Pakou who I met in 2006 and we tied the knot in January 18th 2008, we have an awesome son Mason and another on the way! We live a very simple humble life and we help each other out when needed. My family means a lot to me, and, if it wasn’t for my wife I wouldn’t have taken the time to finally build this site. Every man has his own source of motivation mine is my wife and kids.
