welcome
My Creations is a small web studio built and created by me Stephen Mahadeo. I specialize in XHTML/CSS, JQuery, Flash Animation, and Illustration. I enjoy keeping up with new types of technologies that are used when building websites for the internet. My purpose for this site is to experiment on those types technologies in the web industry.
In my blogs I will be concentrating on one skill at a time, with the intentions of accomplishing a goal. That goal could be debugging a problem, trying out a new design techniques in adobe photoshop, building a application from scratch or just drawing my next creation. Also, this will be the foundation of all my work to come and a resource for all my clients when it comes to making a decision in using my services. Feel free to check out my portfolio.

Magento
I’ve always wanted to get into the whole, “build a site with an e-commerce solution” thing… At first I started with a wordpress plugin called “WordPress e-Commerce” This is a great plugin for small business who are just looking to put up a couple of products for sale. I have not used this plugin to its fullest potential yet, but, I do not think it will be practical for a much large scale inventory. Thats where Magento comes in. I just started to read up on Magento and even began work on a prototype shopping cart. So far its very simple to put together but has a strict learning curve.
I’ll write more about magento later in the coming weeks… once I have something to show for it.
